How to clean your Galaxy Buds4 series
1. Preparing before cleaning
To clean your Galaxy Buds4 series safely, prepare the following
- A soft, lint-free dry cloth
- Cleansing water
- Paper towel
- Soft brush
- A small cup
- Distilled water

2. Cleaning the earbuds
To keep your Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro performing at their best, remove any debris regularly
Step 1. Dip a soft brush into a cup of cleansing water.
Step 2. Gently brush each port for about 15 seconds.
Caution: Do not clean the device using alcohol, organic solvents (such as acetone), or other chemicals. This may damage the device.
*Avoid using sharp objects or applying excessive force when removing foreign substances. The air duct, speaker, or microphone holes may be damaged.
Step 3. Wipe off any moisture with a paper towel, and repeat this process three times.
Step 4. Rinse the soft brush with distilled water, then brush again and wipe dry.
*Be careful not to rub the sensor surface with the brush, as this may cause scratches.
Step 5. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe away dust from the sensors, and blades.
*If foreign substances are on the earbud blade, the touch feature may not work properly or be recognised.
Step 6. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe away dust and debris from charging contacts on both earbuds carefully.
Step 7. Let the earbuds dry completely before use.
3. Cleaning the charging case
For optimal charging performance, keep the charging case clean as well
Step 1. Check whether there are dust or debris inside the charging contacts.
Step 2. If you see dust or debris on the cradle or charging contacts, cleaning is required.
Step 3. Wipe it off using a dry cloth if there is debris.
Note:
- Ensure to remove all moisture after cleaning with water.
- If the earbuds are not charging properly, try cleaning the charging contacts again following the previous steps.
- Do not clean the device using alcohol, organic solvents (such as acetone), or other chemicals. This may damage the device.
