Working in exclusive collaboration with Samsung, the fashion designer unveiled his take on the Galaxy Z Flip, including the Galaxy Buds+ and the Galaxy Watch Active2, showcasing his iconic aesthetic in tech form. The futuristic Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition represents a dichotomy within the mid-century office setting of the performance

The story behind the collaboration

It all started when two industry leaders decided to join forces and help people see the world differently. Their answer? The Galaxy Z Flip Thom Browne Edition. Marking the “first remarkable fashion x technology collaboration to transcend time,” this partnership singlehandedly bridges the gap between the two worlds. “Samsung has supported my collections for quite some time,” says Browne. “Coming together in this collaboration was something that was very easy for me because of the technology, the technological aspects of learning in regards to technology but also to their idea of doing things at the highest level.”

The unveiling took place at Sotheby’s in New York City where Thom Browne models put on a performance that played with time and space.

As Browne puts it, it’s the story of “coming from the past and going into the future, and having a device that doesn’t have to change because it’s that timeless.”

After the show, attendees gathered in the hands-on experience zone where they were able to test the new Galaxy Z Thom Browne Edition device, the Galaxy Buds+ and the Galaxy Watch Active2 via white glove service.
